Just to recap, last week I asked you to come up with a Green Smoothie recipe with Coconut. Candida diet friendly non the less.

In other words, without sugar, dairy or tropical fruit.

Not an easy task. Hence I was super thrilled when one of my readers allowed me to share her wonderful green smoothie recipe below:

It tastes like key lime pie. Refreshing and nourishing. But it’s also filling.

It wouldn’t be hard to have one of these as a meal replacement once a day. You can easily add some ground buckwheat or flax to get a better full feeling.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup coconut milk
  • ¼ cup plain non pasteurized yogurt
  • 3 sticks celery
  • 1 whole cucumber
  • 1 whole lime
  • 1 granny smith apple (take out the seeds)
  • Handful of spinach
  • Pinch of Kale
  • optional: ¼ cup buckwheat or flax

 Instructions

  1. Juice all.
  2. Blend into it ¼ cup coconut milk and ¼ cup plain non pasteurized yogurt.
  3. Then add the buckwheat or flax.
