Q: I haven’t got any money, and I’m scared to sign up. Why should I make this investment now?
I find that it works out more expensive to tackle Candida on your own without following a clear system. I found that true for myself as well as many people I talked to through my Candida diet blog. Q: Do I have to do a cleanse/ fast and will I feel really weak?

If you follow my instructions you should be feeling fine, but there is always a slight chance that you feel a little more sleepy or headachy, so it’s best not to plan anything to strenuous!
Q: What makes this Candida Diet different from other diets like Paleo and the Specific Carbohydrate Diet? I’m confused.
Paleo is strict on starchy vegetables and grains but allows some fruit which can tip Candida sufferers over the edge. I say take the best of both worlds. Take inspiration from Paleo recipes that work for you and leave the ones out that could cause a flare up. Ask me if you’re unsure. The SCD has some overlapping areas with the Candida diet too just that their diet is geared to tackle a bacterial overgrowth rather than a yeast overgrowth. But the diet is also very strict on grains and starchy veg and beans, again allowing some fruit which can cause havoc if you have Candida because the fruit sugar feeds the yeast. There are only two ways to find out whether your issues are bacterial or yeast related – you follow an elimination diet like the Candida diet and listen in with your body what foods agree with you, or you get some lab tests done. So what have you got to lose by trying the Candida diet? Q: What if I don’t know if I have Candida?
A: No worries, most people don’t. You can either get a blood test, saliva test and stool sample or you do the gimmicky home Candida spit test (just google it!) and you’ll get a fairly good idea if you’ve got it, especially if you crave sweets and carbs ALL the time and you get sleepy after a big pasta meal or you are highly sensitive to smoke (all indicators of a Candida overgrowth!)
