3 Common Candida Diet Myths

If you believe these common myths… you might be making your life unnecessarily hard and miserable….

-> CLICK HERE to watch this week’s video so you can make an informed decision, or simply read on (I transcribed the content for you below):

MYTH NO.1: YOU CAN’T EAT ANY FRUIT

It is commonly believed that any type of sugar even naturally occurring fruit sugar feeds yeast and thereby encourages Candida.

If you are hanging out with people who suspect Candida you’ve probably seen one or even been in the situation yourself where you get really paranoid about every nano gram of sugar… Just because you came across some site or book that told you to cut all sugar out and now you think you literally can’t eat any fruit!

Ever tried to cut out fruit?

No jam, no mixed cereal, granola, practically no dessert, no fruity drink…. Out of all the things this was one of the hardest to give up for me because I was a fruit fiend! I did it for over a year, but it wasn’t sustainable (nor enjoyable!)

The good news is you don’t have to go quite so military style – you can eat a little bit of low sugar fruit and still beat Candida! It’s the overall carbs count you need to worry about.

MYTH NO.2: YOU’LL NEVER BE ABE TO EAT SUGAR OR PIZZA AGAIN

You’ll always have to follow the diet and will never be able to eat anything with sugar or gluten again without causing a Candida relapse.

Wrong!

Of course you will be able to eat sugar again. When you bring your Candida levels under control, fix your gut, rebuild your immune system and eat healthily most of the time… why wouldn’t you be able to eat sugar again??!

MYTH NO.3: YOU’LL HAVE TO KILL ALL CANDIDA

Nope!

You won’t have to kill or ‘get rid of’ ALL Candida in order to recover.

Candida amongst other yeasts is an essential part of your gut flora and immune system – eradicating it completely causes an imbalance and weakens your immunity. Keeping the numbers in check is what you want. That makes your immune system stronger. You don’t feel ill because of Candida… it’s because of secondary symptoms that the overgrowth opened door for once it turned into a fungus.
