Happy Thanksgiving (to my American friends)


If you happen to celebrate Thanksgiving today or this weekend I wish you a fab time with your loved ones. Don’t be too hard on yourself if you end up eating something outside the scope of the Candida diet. Just pick up the diet where you left off.

My top three tips to survive this fest:

  • Get some fresh air and go for a brisk walk before or after every big meal – if your metabolism is tiptop then your body will be more forgiving if you overindulge in foods.
  • Take some Swedish Bitters or dandelion tea after heavy meals – helps your digestion to run smoothly.
  • Find some time for yourself for relaxing – everyone want something from you, time to learn to say ‘no’!
