3-4 heaped tbsp cooked brown rice (or brown rice protein powder)
½ small apple (I used Braeburn)
½ cucumber
1 tsp Maca powder (you could use vanilla instead)
sprinkle of cinnamon
1 tsp coconut oil
a few dashes of almond milk (I used unsweetened)
optional: ¼ tsp spirulina and ¼ tsp chlorella)
Instructions
Fill the coconut milk in your blender.
Add the cooked brown rice or rice protein powder. If you opt for cooked rice and it’s already a day old then it’s best to briefly fry the rice with the coconut oil. Put aside for a few minutes to cool down again.
Chop the cucumber and apple into slices or chunks and add to the coconut milk.
Add the spices and a bit of almond milk.
Then blend on high until everything is smooth.
