You’re surrounded by chocolate temptation all around you – I hear ya!

Resisting temptation is tricky at the best of times, but especially so when you are following a Candida diet regime where you are not allowed any sweets.

So what are you supposed to eat?

I found 7 awesome Candida diet friendly snacks/ healthy candy alternatives that you can enjoy guilt freeall super quick to make, filling and very presentable (aka you can prepare them in advance and take them along to any social gathering with family or friends without risking pitiful glances!).

  1. Avocado Horseradish Devilled Eggs 
  2. Salmon Devilled Eggs
  3. Simple Avocado Devilled Eggs
  4. Beetroot Lemon Eggs
  5. Vegetarian Scotch Eggs
  6. Spicy Oven Roasted Chickpeas/ Garbanzo Beans
  7. Slices of Fresh Red Bell Pepper

The good thing about these healthy sugar free snacks is that you can even just make the ‘devilled’ sauces if eggs don’t agree with you. I am pretty sure you could use the sauces as tasty dips for grilled or baked vegetables for instance.

Alternatively you can always resort to making a pot of hummus and nibbling some veg sticks with it. Red bell pepper slices are a favourite of mine because they are not just a great source of Vitamin C, Betacarotene and fibre, they also nicely satisfy any craving for sweets you might have. YES! 

So don’t despair. With a little bit of prep in the kitchen you can make some quick snacks that are Candida diet approved and fill you up so you’ll have less appetite for chocolate eggs and bunnies. Result!
