As I am writing this you are probably throwing your dashing Halloween outfit on to go to a party, right ?
Better not go without taking a peek at these fun Candida diet Pumpkin recipes/ Halloween treats!
I have the place to myself, and I have decided to stay in and take it easy. I just cooked myself a Thai Green Curry with red Quinoa and for dessert Coconut yoghurt — gosh it doesn’t take much to make me happy these days lol.
Time to cosy up on the sofa now with my new book and Stress management video series (no seriously I just bought it and I hope I’ll finally get the hang of not burning myself out so much ?
Ok I admit it, I might watch a little bit of Strictly Come Dancing too since nobody is watching haha.
Before I do that here are a few fun foods that caught my eye that I think you’d enjoy (hint: they are not just for Halloween).
Monster mouths
Just slices of granny smith apple with almond butter and blanched almonds, genius! (Original recipe uses candy as teeth.)
Pumpkin Hummus
I have discovered that Hummus infinitely improves by adding roasted vegetables to it like red pepper or butter nut squash for instance. I wonder what pumpkin would be like with it.
Might be worth trying — here’s how to make pumpkin hummus.
Healthy Sugar Free Pumpkin Bread
I’ve never had Pumpkin bread, but this looks lush. Here’s the recipe — sugar free but with maple syrup — to make it completely sugar free and Candida diet compatible use Vanilla Stevia and a little Xylitol instead of the maple syrup, and be warned that Xylitol doesn’t agree with dogs).
Have a great time whatever you decide to do this weekend!
I’ll leave you with these hilarious mummies…. I wish there was a way of making a healthy version of them… ?
Leave a comment below and tell me what you are eating this Halloween.
Best,
Sandra
