Your input for my e-book is required – Which cover do you prefer?

Hey, my candida e-book is rapidly taking shape. The manuscript is with the editor as we speak.

My designer wizard partner has designed two covers for me to choose from. The trouble is I like BOTH!

Can you help?

Which of the two covers do you prefer?

candida e-book cover 1   candida e-book cover 2

This is what the two covers would roughly look like on Amazon:

e-book cover on Amazon mock up

candida e-book candida cure amazon

  • Don’t get confused by the “power muscle” wording – it’s a screen shot from an existing book in the shop :) my cover image was just pasted on top in photoshop to give you an idea what the cover might look like on Amazon….
  • Also, the right image has since been changed (the writing “How YOU can…” has been moved to the top left of the cover and the “in Four Steps” has moved to the bottom right corner just like in the original big cover above).

So, what do you reckon? Just say left or right in the comments below. That would be super helpful, thank you!

Also, I’m giving ten readers the opportunity to read a copy of my e-book for free before it gets published. Let me know if you’re interested, and I’ll send you the details how you can get involved.

I choose the second one. Everyone wants to hear that there are simple steps, especially only two of them. :)

Thanks Sandi, oooh that’s a tough one. I agree with you in the sense that I want to see the solution to my problem in the title. So the second one definitely makes more sense…

I also prefer the second one, it seems clearer and is what I would be hoping for when I bought the book.

Thanks Julie, that’s very helpful.

I like number one. The by-line is catchy!

Thanks for your input Jennifer, I agree.

I love the first one, at first I thought the second one but kept going back to the first one. The idea of seeing you can eat something instead of always seeing no not this to yes you can sounds so good. When we first started on this long journey it seemed like everything we looked at was a big fat no you can’t until I found you and it was yes we can eat something. Love your ideas, Kathy

Thanks so much for your speedy lovely response. I’m actually drawn to this one, too. I think it works on a subconscious level perhaps, because when you first have candida you’re automatically totally focused on foods and whether you can have them or not…

#2 for the simple steps…but I like your picture on it!

And I’d love a pre-copy and would be happy to do a review at Gluten-Free Cat! Excited for you!!!

I really like the first one! All i could focus on at first was the “No”! I see that it can be more than a a other negative! Yes foods seems So encouraging!

Thanks Kate, encouraging is always good. What do you think of Cat’s suggestion “Say Yes to No Foods”?

Cat August 9, 2013 at 12:42

Hmmm… I like seeing your photo on the cover , but I think the “How You Can Cure” title is more positive, suggesting that a person really can do it. Now, if the title said, “Say Yes to No Foods…” well, I’d bet you’d sell a lot of copies. :-)

Oh my, count on you to bring up a third one :) If I don’t use it now I’ll have to write a book about the Candida Cleanse, just so I can use the wording, it’s brilliant. Gosh, decisions were never my strong suite. Thanks Cat.

I vote the second one as well. Looking at it on my phone it’s the bottom one. The one with the simple steps.

That’s great, slowly there’s a majority vote forming for the one you picked. Thanks Hannah.

Hi Sandra, there are things I like about both! Seeing your photo is good, as is the ‘no foods to yes foods’ message. If you could include the ‘four simple steps’ message as well that would be perfect. If not, on consideration I prefer the left option. All the best!

I like the second cover best. I am interested in a copy of your e-book.

Awesome, thanks April. I’ll email you a pre-copy next week. It would be great if you could give me some feedback once you have read it.

Would you be prepared to answer a few quick questions for me afterwards? I’m also collecting brief quotes that I could use in my marketing. Just saying what you liked about it or if it helped you in any way. That would be cool. I’m counting on you liking it of course ;-)

The picture may give the impression that one can say yes to bad foods or .. donuts?
I would think you want to make it clear huh?
.Get the age of the people leaving comments may be a good idea.

Fair comment, thank you. That confirms my decision to go with the other one, perfect.
Have a good weekend.

That’s great, I’ll email you a copy. Do you or your husband mind telling me afterwards if it helped or not so I can improve it? That would be cool, ta.
