Green Goodness Juice

  • 1 handful fresh spinach or watercress leaves
  • 1 handful basil, parsley or coriander (cilantro)
  • half a Large organic cucumber
  • 1-2 stalks celery
  • juice of 1 lemon


  • 1 clove garlic
  • half a teaspoon Spirulina powder


Try lime instead of lemon for a slightly sweeter flavour.

Green juices are superb immune system boosters – They do however take a little getting used to taste-wise!!!

Try one at least once though. The main thing is that the green goodness juice gives you lots of energy and helps you to keep your cravings at bay. During a fast or candida cleanse this drink can be a real life saver.

If you are still in the preparation stages of the Candida Diet where you don’t follow strict diet guidelines you can add half a green apple to sweeten the juice up a little bit.


Step 1
Put the greens, cucumber celery and finely chopped garlic (if using) into a juicer to make a green liquid.
Step 2
Juice the lemon and mix in with your green juice.
Step 3
Stir in some Spirulina for an extra boost.
Step 4
Keep the rest of your juice in a covered jar in the fridge and drink as soon as possible. It might be worth getting a proper juice flask if you drink a lot of juices. These are dark bottles made out of a thermos flask-type material that keep the vitamins fresh for longer.
